Ottolenghi's Neil Campbell - 20th September 2026

£85.00
sold out

Cookery Demonstration and Lunch. Sunday 20th September, 12-3pm.

Yotam Ottolenghi’s new book Simple Too is out this September (see Topping & Company for tickets, I’ll be interviewing Yotam in the very beautiful McEwan Hall).

Yotam is also opening his first-ever Scottish restaurant on Edinburgh’s George Street this autumn under the direction of Executive Head Chef, Neil John Campbell.

Born and raised on the Isle of Skye, Neil began cooking while still a teenager, inspired by Scotland’s natural bounty and his fisherman father’s deep connection to the sea. His early career took him to Australia then back through Michelin-starred kitchens in Scotland, before leading him to Ottolenghi in London, where he became Executive Head Chef.

Neil is bringing his creative, sustainable, and flavour-driven approach home to lead Ottolenghi’s first Scottish restaurant and I’m absolutely delighted to be welcoming him to my studio on Sunday 20th September to host a very special preview lunch and cookery demonstration.

You’ll have the chance to enjoy some of the dishes from the new restaurant and new cookbook. Tickets include a welcome drink, cookery demonstration, 3 courses and natural wine on the table, plus a ticket in a raffle to win an Ottolenghi hamper!

The demo and menu will be vegetarian and unfortunately we’re unable to accommodate dietary requirements for this event.

Start time is 12noon finishing around 3pm. If you’ve been to my events before, you’ll know it’s all very informal and relaxed and there will be plenty of time for shopping at the end.

Can’t wait! Jess x
