Cara Guthrie Jug
Inspired by the jug that Dunkeld-based potter Cara Guthrie always has on her kitchen table when I’m over for lunch, to me, this is the perfect jug for serving water, or even better, wine!
As they’re hand thrown by Cara, each jug is unique in shape (so the one you’re sent may vary slightly from these photographs). The little dimple feature on the spout of these is really special. Available in tenmoku black and mustard-brown glazes.
Capacity is roughly 800ml - so each jug comfortably holds more than a standard-sized bottle of wine.
