Working on sets and in kitchens over the past decade means that I’ve trialled many styles of apron, so I am delighted to introduce our own Elliott’s range.
These aprons are made in Scotland using Halley Stevensons waxed cotton which is one of Scotland’s most celebrated fabrics thanks to its water-resistant, long-lasting quality. Just like a good leather satchel, waxed cotton develops a beautiful patina over time so continues to build character with each wear. I’m a rather messy cook so I like how these wipe-clean so easily, too.
We’ve designed these as unisex, with a generous Japanese-style cross back, deep pockets and pocket within pocket, ideal for carrying snips in the garden.
